Can I try the Journo AI platform before I pay for a subscription?

Absolutely! All journalists who sign up to the Journo AI platform get a free plan by default, this includes 5,000 credits (5,000 words of output). This allows you to navigate the platform, see what workflows we automate and try 8-10 workflow automation tasks for yourself, per month, before paying for a Starter Plan (50,000 credits) monthly or a Pro Plan (200,000 credits) monthly.

What makes Journo AI stand out among other AI tools?

Our platform is made specifically for Financial Journalists. You no longer need to research the latest AI model developments or advanced prompt engineering techniques - Journo AI does the heavy lifting, while you focus on great financial reporting. With its intuitive dashboard design that simplifies the AI process for users of all levels, you can start immediately without AI training.

Do I need to know how to prompt AI to use Journo AI?

Not one bit. All you need to do is input your article research notes or draft, select from simple options for your desired output (e.g: target audience) and Journo AI takes it from there. Simple to use, powerful results! We spent thousands of hours on different AI models and prompts so you don't have to.

How do credits work? Do I keep the credits I didn't use the previous month?

1 credit = 1 word of output. This makes it extremely easy to track and understand your usage during the month, especially with our usage and billing tab where you can see your daily usage throughout the month, when your credits are due to reset and to manage your plan. Please note that credits do reset if not used by the end of the month, where they return to your monthly limit amount.

How do I access Chat-GPT 4o and Claude 3 Opus Models using Journo AI?

Journo AI has built-in industry leading AI models in our document editor platform tab. This allows you to prompt these AI models exactly how you wish, without a separate Chat-GPT or Claude 3 subscription! That's right, we include these subscriptions within our paid plans, allowing you to cancel existing offerings and still get the benefits. Note that output words count towards your credits within your plan.

Is the payment service secure?

Yes, our payment service is secure. We use Stripe for financial processing, and we do not store any information about your card. Stripe ensures bank-level security standards.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Go to the Journo AI app dashboard when you are logged in and click Plans & Billing, click manage plan and you will be redirected to Stripe's billing portal where you can switch plans at any time.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to the Journo AI app dashboard when you are logged in and click Plans & Billing and then Manage Plans, you will be redirected to Stripe's billing portal where you can download invoices, switch plans and cancel your subscription.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds as costs incurred for creating sophisticated AI outputs for Journalism are extremely high. In turn, our upstream providers do not let us ask for refunds for the GPU processing time used to automate your workflows. This would make it a loss making endeavour for us. During sign up you agree to withhold your right to refund for this reason. You can cancel any time though and your subscription ends.
